It’s been a little while since I’ve been to the blogosphere but I didn’t leave you.
I have a couple of crafts to update you on including the one I am talking about today!!
I hope you enjoy it!
Make your own holiday centerpiece!
With the fall already here me and my roommates decided it would be a good idea to get a head start on some decorating ideas. These centerpieces are the perfect way to spice up any house!
- Used Wine Bottles
- Goo Be Gone
- Epson Salt
- Craft Bond
- and any flower or decoration you would like to stick inside
- start by using the goo be gone to get the label off of your wine bottle
- spray your wine bottle completely in the craft bond
- roll the bottle around in epson salt
- let her sit!
Easy as that and you can stick your decorations in the neck of the bottle and have the perfect gift or decoration!
Whats the Deal!?
We’ve all heard of the somewhat new social media site Pinterest. When I first heard about Pinterest I was very irritated when I had to be on a waiting list to actually start using the site. Although, when accepted, Pinterest became an addiction. I have decided to make my blog about everything I post on Pinterest and instead of just letting it sit on my boards I am actually going to create the amazing do-it-yourself projects that I find and am interested in. Me and my roommates always share these with each other and think that they are good ideas but the time never comes around that we actually sit down and craft or cook or whatever the project might be.
What to do first?
When looking at the Pinterest site for the first time I was very confused as to what you actually do on there. Once you take a look at the categories, it all comes a little bit clearer. You can look up categories that catch your interest and then make your own boards as a closet of some sort to pin things that catch your eye. Some of the categories that are included are:
- Do it Yourself & Crafts
- Food and Drink
- Home Decor
Whatever it is you are looking for– Pinterest has it!!
This Weeks Craft

Hi everyone, I am excited to start blogging and sharing my insight on different things and also on me on here. I want my first blog to be about my summer because it was a very eventful one and I was thinking if I wrote it down on here I definitely will never forget it! I spent my summer interning in Chicago, well a suburb, Wilmette, IL and lived in Evanston, IL. I was working at Westmoreland Country Club for my level two internship for Hospitality Business. While working there it made me decide some life decisions, for one I do not want to work in food and beverage when I graduate. Additionally, I had to work every weekend for sometimes twelve-fourteen hour days– which is not how I would like to spend weekends as an adult. I realized that I like the business side of it a lot more, therefore I decided I want to get my masters degree in Human Resources. I’ve been looking into different school and will start applying soon so I’ll keep you posted on where I apply and everything. That’s all for today, talk to you soon!
